This one day event is played in five age groups as follows: Under 19, 17, 15, 13, & 11, with separate events for boys and girls. A player's age category is calculated as at 11th April 2021.

This event is for junior players who have commenced playing squash over the past one to two years, and their initial entry point into tournament play, or have been playing tournaments for a short period of time.

This event does not count towards the minimum number of four events to qualify for state team selection.
