Car parking was difficult and it was crowded at times in the changing rooms (difficult not to continue sweating on a very hot day). But the courts were in good condition and easy to play on. Staff and club members were very polite, helpful and welcoming. I did miss some of the usual characters who were absent due to injury and other commitments as they add to the event. Well organised by Mike Harris. Although success once again eluded me I was happy to meet up with some old friends and acquaintances who I had not seen elsewhere for some time. I will if still alive enter next year's tournament.

The events would be perfect if an age category could have all their matches played either in a morning or afternoon. People's weekends are precious and it is a whole day.
