Year End Championship Details:
I will assume that anyone who is registered and has played a minimum of one box cycle this season is automatically in the tournament(s) unless you let me know otherwise. If there are ladies who would rather play only one of the tournaments please let me know.
Ladies Championship: Open to all ladies
Open Championship: Open to everyone. Will have 2 levels (Advanced and Intermediate). Those in the Developing section are welcome to join the Intermediate tournament.
When: Starts Monday August 14. We will try to wrap up before the long-weekend in August with Finals for the Ladies and Open (Advanced and Intermediate) to be played as part of a year-end social at Rick Kvas' private court.
The goal will be to get through the first few rounds by August 21, with quarter-finals to finals dates to be determined as we go.
Where: Court of your choice through the rounds up until the Finals (see above).
Game Details:
Ladies - Pro Set (8 games, win by 2, Tie Break at 7 games all, to 7 points, win by 2)
Open Advanced - 2 out of 3 sets (6 games, win by 2, Tie Break at 6 games all, to 7 points, win by 2)
Open Intermediate - Pro Set ((8 games, win by 2, Tie Break at 7 games all, to 7 points, win by 2)
Organizers: Will be a group effort of various club executive. All correspondence can come through this email.
