2024 MASTERS NORTH & SOUTH DERBY | JMS & NMS Entries (Wanderers)
Players have the option to compete in either Singles or Doubles categories. In each region, there are 10 entries available for both Singles and Doubles, all mixed and ranked by strength. The tournament format involves creating two teams of five players each, ensuring parity in strength within each team.
During the preliminary rounds, teams face off against opposing regions in the first two games, earning points for each game won. Following the preliminary rounds, the top two teams compete for first and second positions, while the remaining two teams battle for third and fourth.
Points accumulated during the preliminary rounds do not carry over to the finals, ensuring a fresh start for all teams. After the intense matches, participants and spectators can look forward to a prize-giving ceremony and a delicious meal to cap off the event in style.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: PROTECTIVE EYEWEAR IS COMPULSORY!
This tournament is for JMS and NMS affiliated players only.
1. Ladies doubles players must be 30 years of age and over. Ladies singles players must be 35 years of age and over.
2. Men's players must be 35 years of age and over.
3. Players must abide by the tournament rules and Squash SA rules.
4. In all circumstances the Tournament Referee’s decision is final.
5. The Dunlop green dot ball will be used.
6. Doubles: Always a let unless you hit your opponent with a ball going directly to front wall then stroke against you as this is dangerous play.
7. Players agree that Joburg/Northerns Masters Squash, Joburg/Northerns Squash and/or Squash SA may use photos/images/videos of the players for purposes such as celebrating achievement and publicising events and these may be posted to any JMS/NMS social media platform or the Joburg/Northerns Squash website.
