CONDITIONS OF ENTRY FOR DUNLOP CJS JUNIOR OPEN SQUASH TOURNAMENT 26 - 28 JULY 2024
FORMAT: Depending on the amount of entries, this will be a graded event, players will play a round-robin/swiss paring in groups of strength in order to give players the best possible match preparation. Girls might end up in groups together with boys of equal strength.

1. Players must be at the venue at least 30 minutes before the scheduled playing time, and be warmed up and ready to play at the scheduled time.
2. Players must be available to play throughout the weekend and no special requests will be allowed. Once finalized, match times cannot be changed. We respect our opponents therefore no exceptions will be allowed.
3. Players are expected to mark and referee the match following theirs. Winners to Referee and Losers to Mark.
4. Players must abide by the rules of Squash SA, Centurion Junior Squash, Irene and Uitsig Squash Club. All cell phones are banned while marking. In all circumstances, the Tournament Referee’s decision is final.
5. Draws and times will be available to players by Thursday 25 July (i.e. provided you have supplied us with an accurate email address and cell number) or alternatively contact the tournament coordinator.
6. We will also use WhatsApp groups to confirm draws and changes. Make sure to add correct cell number.
7. NB: Please indicate playing strength in detail if possible, so we can rank correctly.
8. Scoring will be best of 5 games ”point-a-rally” up to 15 points (Age Group U11-U13) and 11 points (Age Group U14 –U19) or according to strength.
9. The Dunlop Pro XX will be the official match squash ball for u11, u13. HA Ball for u14 ,u16 and u19. Groups of different age groups will play with Dunlop Pro XX. Beginner players - single yellow dot, at the discretion of the tournament organizers.
10. PROTECTIVE EYEWEAR IS COMPULSORY! This includes during the warm-up.
11. This is a fun tournament but Head to Head results in same age groups will count.
12. Depending on the number of entries the tournament will start on Friday 17h00. Games on Saturday will only commence from 12h00 midday.
14. Spectators will be allowed according to the capacity of a specific venue.
15. Players must wear clothing suitable for squash per SA Schools’ Squash, Squash SA and WSF regulations.
16. The Dunlop CJS Open Tournament will publish draws, results and photos of players. As this is a part of the Dunlop CJS Open tournament rules, the organisers will deem that players and their parents have accepted these regulations by entering the tournament.
17. Venues will be - Midstream Ridge Squash Courts, Uitsig Squash Club, Irene Country Club Squash Courts and if needed Pierre van Ryneveld Squash Club.
18. Entry fee of R320 does not include a Tournament shirt. T shirt optional and can be ordered when you enter for tournament. We need vouchers and sponsors for goody bags. Please feel free to contact organisers
