i have a lot of friends at Koedoe Park club and trust that they will not take this comment personally. The courts were not in good condition ( could have been cleaned and swept before ) and the poles used for the nets, in singles, not available when we were playing ( this is standard at all tournaments ). I believe that the tournament organising committee must ensure that there is a standard level, which all venues should have to comply with, if they want to host the event at their club.

The ladies toilets at Groenkloof could do with some attention. Just a handyman to fix the locks on the toilet doors etc would make a big difference. The kiosk facilities are average, but the service is slow. It takes ages to get a cup of tea - mostly because the urn with the boiling water is in a different room from the service counter.

Maybe just as a comment: We waited very long for our doubles finals to go on court Sunday at Groenkloof. When querying this I was informed that none of the players had registered/reported? Although all four of the players played singles at the same courts earlier. Nobody was aware that we had to report again?

All finals to be played at Groenkloof. Social atmosphere of tournament not there anymore. Norm was always to play at venues and then play semis and finals at Groenkloof.
