Ladies Champion - Helene Gagne

Helen won her 3rd straight Ladies Championship, defeating Annette Chan in a great battle with so many long rallies it tired out the crowd.

 

Advanced Champion - Rene Alvarez

We have a new champion this year, Rene beat Mariano Chan in a very windy affair that made both players pull out all sorts of great shots from their bags.

 

There was a great crowd as always at the Kvas Court.  Thanks again to Rick and Lynne for their great hospitality, as well as all those members who contributed to the pot luck dinner.

A good time was had by everyone, it was especially nice to see the next generation of tennis players come out and enjoy the atmosphere.
