Dress Code

DRESS CODE

Whilst our dress codes have been relaxed in line with modern standards it still remains important standards are maintained to uphold the traditions and prestige of the club and it is essential that Club Members and Visitors alike adhere to these regulations. Improperly dressed members or guests will be asked to change clothes. Our Golf Professionals and golf shop staff will be happy to assist you or your guests with appropriate attire that is available for sale in the golf shop or on loan from The Clubhouse.

The following rules do still apply:

GOLF
Recognised golfing attire should be worn at all times. This excludes sweat pants, running or tattered clothes. Shirts must be tucked in.

BOWLS
Standard bowling attire (predominantly white) with regulation bowling footwear.

TENNIS/SQUASH
Regulation (predominantly) white attire must be worn. Regulation squash shoes only (no black soles).

THE CLUBHOUSE
Casual dress code including sandals, shorts and t-shirts are permitted on the patio areas until 6pm. After 6pm members and guests are requested to wear smart casual clothing. Hats should not be worn inside the clubhouse. The regulations reflect the Committee’s interpretation of the wishes of the majority of members. The Management has the right to interpret the rules in relation to standards of good taste and has the authority to ensure that the rules are observed.

Members are reminded that it is their responsibility to ensure their guests conform to the Club’s dress regulations.

About

THE VISION
The Bryanston Country Club will be a leading and sustainable country club that is exciting, welcoming and appealing to Members and their families and to guests. The Club will be innovative and provide good value, excellent service with quality facilities supporting selected sporting, social and business offerings

THE BACKGROUND
The Bryanston Country Club is constitutionally organised such that its Members hold the rights to control the Club and, through delegation to volunteer committees, to run the Club on a day to day basis. In reality, the Club is heavily reliant on the community of Members acting in harmony with each other, its committees and staff to achieve a pleasant and progressive environment. The viability of the Club is also dependent on substantial usage by corporate and other guests, whose separate needs require members’ understanding and a commensurate allocation of the Club’s resources. In this sense, our Club when operating at its best, is an inclusive blend of all of the abovementioned stakeholders.

Parking and Directions

There are 2 parking areas for the golfers, which are not covered but in summer there are some lovely trees which create shade. The main parking area is covered with solar panels.

Change Room

We have fully equipped men's & ladies change rooms at the main club house which include hair dryers and towels. There are change rooms at the squash courts but only bathrooms at the tennis pavilion.
